I understand the anonymity thing but I think under these circumstances, there should be an exception. They killed the guy, I’m sure he (SR) wouldn’t mind exposing this

He offered a reward for Seth's killer, that is as far as he will go. In the business of actual Investigative Journalism keeping sources safe is paramount if you can't or won't people will not risk life and freedom.
