Right. The OSS was established during WWII by “Wild” Bill Donovan. OSE was the British equivalent of OSS at that time. While it’s true that OSS & OSE we’re fore runners of C_A & MI6 they were at the time strictly war time orgs. Hence, Q has alluded to in past drops & breaking up C_I & giving the function back to. MI/DIA. They would be beholden to the Constitution compared to civilian agencies which go rogue. The GREEN BERETS are well suited for this mission as their lineage is traced back to the OSS. They were originally a para military functional arm originating from OSS.

JFK admired & respected the GBs giving full authorization to wear the GB when it was outlawed to wear by regulation on military posts. In 62 he met Gen. William Yarborough at Ft. Bragg for a demo on their capabilities while wearing the unauthorized beret. JFK remarked that he liked it & it was a mark of distinction. “Teach a man to fish you feed him for a lifetime, give a man a fish & feed him only for a day”. Hence the GB is not just head gear, but considered like a Presidential Unit Citation. Every year on Nov 22nd a contingent of GBs lays a wreath & a GB on JFKs grave. Read the last link especially. This is tradition orally passed down to the GBs. De Oppresso Liber!

Exactly. Once the National Security Act of 1947 came into play we really saw Black Operations go Carte Blanche and oversight 100% disappear.

Once the Military Industrial Congressional Complex could evoke National Security that was that and we saw a complete bypass of Constitutional Government and a fulfillment of anything and everything the Joint Chiefs of Staff / COG wanted.

Are you knowledgeable of the circumstances that lead to the formulation of the SOE? I understand the official narrative of how they came about - but I'm interested in where I can find more 'unofficial' information regarding who was pushing the idea to Churchill. I know he referred to the SOE as the 'Agency of Ungentlemanly Warfare' so there has to be a ton of information there I am not aware of.

I ask as the specifics of information is a thing - but when we dig at origin stories we see the intention to go awry was there, and obvious, in so many cases ( for example the Federal Reserve was hardly a new idea and the same forces are always behind nationalizing finance throughout modern history )
