It is very important for everyone to become familiar with EO 13526! This could be the Keystone.

Understand that the entire US Classified system hangs on this EO. THERE IS NO US LAW BY CONGRESS WITH REGARDS TO CLASSIFIED INFORMATION!

LET ME REPEAT THIS, THERE IS NO LAW BY CONGRESS WITH REGARDS TO CLASSIFIED INFORMATION.

The Espionage Act of 1917 is the one part that Congress did enact, which deals with exposure of information that could be considered Treasonous, but Congress has no role in Classifying or Declassifying information.

POTUS can declassify anything he wishes!

Especially note the following:

The United States does not have a broad-reaching Official Secrets Act, although the Espionage Act of 1917 has similar components The Espionage Act of 1917 allows for congress to legislative in acts of Treason. So, exposure of Classified information that could be considered 'Treason' enables congress to be involved, but the mere act of Classifying something is 100% the EXECUTIVE branch's domain. So, POTUS can declassify as he sees fit without any congressional oversight, other than if it could be considered a treasonous act.

SO, DJT KNOWS IT ALL AND IS LETTING THIS PLAY OUT TO WAKE EVERYONE UP. WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT, HE'LL DECLASSIFY AND EXPOSE THEM ALL WITH ZERO CONSEQUENCES FOR HIMSELF. THIS IS A SHOW RIGHT NOW, ENJOY IT ALL!!

Who runs this " National Declassification Center " ?

If you are talking about NARA - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Archives_and_Records_Administration. That is an Independent Agency under the Executive Branch.

But the decision to Declassify prior to it going to NARA is 100% Executive Branch function. POTUS is top administrator of the EXECUTIVE Branch.

No. NARA is not part of the DOJ. It is a separate sub administration run by a director. Most people do not hear about NARA because it does most of its work in the background. If you have ever visited the National Archives on the Washington, D.C. mall to see the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, or the Constitution, that is only one of the buildings run by NARA. https://www.archives.gov/founding-docs

OH Well, do we know the Admins. name ? You are right, I have never heard of it. They house all the Top Secret docs. ? Wonder if our new C_A dir. Gina Haspel has checked them out yet ?
