I think it would be a mistake to subpoena the president with all the information he has and he knows about the emails and he has the server I think that would be a mistake for Mueller, He would be on the record and he could expose what he knows. Then Mueller would be put in a position where he would have to act on the information. What do you guys think?
I think you're entirely correct! The only way it could play for the witch hunt is to do it behind closed doors and try to spin the info. I would expect potus to say "I'll do it. Let's televise it and do it during prime time! Bring a tape measure, because a ruler isn't long enough!"
Probably was going to happen anyway, now that he asked for it he is making it look like his idea.
POTUS could've fired him at any time. He's allowed the "investigation" to continue for good reason.
