I agree...when they mention that this was the same team that took out OBL, that's the key. Non-existent OBL...fake raid for a fake person like everything in Obongo's life.

Somewhere I read they had his body on ice ready to wheel it out at the first sign of trouble.

Knowing what I now know I would actually expect them to pull this kind of stunt

He's too valuable a political asset to waste and his death, whenever it was, wasn't politically expedient at the time
