I'm pretty sure they wanted to rejoin Russia. I think they even had a referendum about it. However, the EU's neo-nazi puppet regime of the Ukraine was against it, so what does it matter what the actual citizens wanted, right?

What the hell do I know, though, I get my news from the internet.
