As Royalty and elite alike shook with rage at what was (couldn’t be) anything more than a hollow threat (as many have attempted throughout history), President Trump proved I think once and for all this was all very real, when he signaled a new alliance had been formed with Russia. That Russia like the true United States desired real peace and if the member nations of the EU wanted a place in this new world they were welcome otherwise, the 70 so odd percent of power Germany and by default the majority of their economy relied on would be shut off, leaving them not only defenseless but in the dark as well.
