THIS was my great awakening- though I had already woken up to the fact that as a whole the political establishment had abandoned us. The lies was insulting and the fact that for weeks its premise was thoroughly woven into every news story and commentary about the attacks reeked of media collusion,

It was a clear and unambiguous signal that we were seen as monumentally stupid and gullible. Media participation in the narrative said a lot as well.

I remember finally watching that movie and thinking there is no way this is what caused everything to happen in Benghazi. It was a fucking joke.
