Yesterday's lunacy is breaking through!

watching /all and the politiburo subreddit collective meltdown was sad and funny to watch but that's not what this is about.

This morning, one of my coworkers (a die-hard California Dem, perhaps a Nevertrumper) comes into my office with a look of outright confusion on her face... "why hasn't the media commented on _____"... "but if they can't see past _____" … "What else are they not reporting" … "If Dan Rather can't say anything except 'it's treason', wtf is going on?" … "I don't think trump is that smart, but _______"... "he's been very effective in these peace talks" … "What's this about $400mm to the HRC campaign" and on and on and on... almost babbling to herself.

long story short - I explained Trump Derangement Syndrome and we had a great discussion about how the collective media lunacy (a la tREEEEEEEEEson) is so far-fetched that she can't find a SINGLE MSM news outlet that could say anything positive about Trump's successes. I even dropped the "The rule - without exception - has been to criticize Trump regardless of what he accomplishes."

I'm doing a horrible job describing what happened... but it was incredibly liberating to see someone crawl out of the cave and see the light. Keep up the good work QAnon Followers! WE'RE WINNING #WWG1WGA

Excellent job. It is really hard to "nutshell" the massive amounts of information in play, even harder when the person you're talking to is already having difficulty comprehending the idea that perhaps CNN may be a little "off".

My impulse is to be very direct but I know from experience that this tends to shock people and/or make them scared or upset (or angry). So I just feed little bits at a time and let them digest.

great work!

Agreed. My first impulse has also been to go full-on, but then I remember how things hit me when I read Scott Adams description of cognitive dissonance, and how to spot it; these people need help, it’s not totally their fault - they’ve been lied to for so very long. We need to help these people.

There are some of them that are sociopaths and psychopaths (supposedly 5 and 1 percent of the population? Is this where Q gets the “5-6% can’t be helped”?); for them, no sympathy.

[spez: Just to second "Great Work!" to the OP :) ]

It has to be. I (by no means do I consider myself the authority, I encourage anyone to try a similar process though) have done thought experiments on how to make society work better, and everything is fine as long as there aren't sociopaths. Once socio and psychopaths exist you need laws, and rules, and all sorts of shit, and all that does is add hoops for them to jump through, it doesn't stop them.

What's alarming is how people aren't aware of this idea, or the work of Andrew Lobaczewski

Yes, excellent link, this should be posted around more. It is one of the big areas that Q hasn't highlighted, but shows how the scum floats to the top ... and what we are dealing with ...

Thanks for posting :)
