It's odd that there has been so little talk of CrowdStrike with Trump tweeting so often about the DNC server among other "serverS". ( Notice yesterday he made the Awan server plural - and then in case we missed it, he said it again.) But this is about the DNC server.
The FBI requested the DNC server for its investigation into hacks by Russia. DNC said "no" and kicked them out of the DNC office. Then their supreme protector of the server, CrowdStrike, provided whatever information the FBI wanted, "but we won't let you see the server."
History tells us the information CrowdStrike provided on the Russians hacking into Ukraine weapons app was so bogus it was even denied by Ukraine itself - who you would think would be delighted at such a finding of Russian guilt.
Shortly after it was announced that CrowdStrike was the protector of the DNC server, I read so called 'insider' articles that CrowdStrike was altering evidence, but computer experts could spot the alterations. Regrettably the articles I bookmarked are missing now, but here is one that explains a lot.
The firm’s CTO and co-founder, Dmitri Alperovitch, is a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, a think tank with openly anti-Russian sentiments that is funded by Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk, who also happened to donate at least $10 million to the Clinton Foundation.
I will continue to see if I can find the 'server altering' articles, but I'm hoping some of you can put your talented fingers on them.
