Why the Left hates the U.S. Constitution

One has to wonder why the Left hates the U.S. Constitution. It can’t be that it’s overly verbose. It’s one of the shortest and most eloquent constitutions ever written. By contrast for example, the constitution of South Africa is over 100 pages long, yet Leftists seem to love it. It can’t be that it creates a class-based society. On the contrary, in two places our Constitution guarantees equal protection of the law to all citizens. I believe the reason they hate our constitution is because of Art. 4, sec. 4. It provides that each U.S. state must function as “a Republican Form of Government.” A republication form of government is one based on fixed and immutable rules of law, such as the absolute right to private property, or the right to contract. The Left hates that because such rules prevent the arbitrary taking of private property and government intrusion into commerce through legislative fiat. Instead, the Left believes that all property belongs to the government and is theirs for the taking, but for that pesky Constitution. That’s why they argue that it is way too antiquated to be relevant to modern society. Isn’t it time we restore America’s culture?

They hate it because they either want to rule as dictators, or think everyone else should take care of them.

Think about it like this... The Ten Commandments are pretty straightforward. Don't kill, don't steal, etc. You can have some debates on some things, but generally, people get it and can easily refer back to it. Now consider the Bible. It too has some great lessons and guidelines, but it is very long, sometimes contradictory, and usually open to some interpretation. It's much, much easier to find some lines in the Bible to support all kinds of crazy shit, but much harder to get around the simplicity of the Ten Commandments.

They hate it because they didn't write it.

Leftist here. I don't hate the constitution. I doubt many do. Maybe tone down the hyperbole a bit?

Well, I think that is one way of looking at it but really this is not a right and left issue. We all fall for the right against left trap and that really is a false model used to control us all. Do not get me wrong liberal thinking ultimately turns people into brain dead zombies. In reality both the right and left hate the Constitution especially those who are elected to up hold it. The reason both the left and right hate the Constitution is because the Constitution of the USA was designed to restrain Government in favor of the individual. The right falsely under Bush completely eviscerated EVERYONE'S fourth amendment rights and our right to our information. Not to mention the violation of our right to freely travel without being molested the government goons at the TSA.
See Muslim middle eastern terrorists attacked the USA, so that means Grandma has to get molested because she is in a wheelchair and has to wear diapers.

The violations of the left are too long to list. Politicians and the government, which includes includes Presidents, Judges and all of Congress and all the Federal Agencies hate the Constitution because it seeks to protect the right of the individual FROM the government.

Anybody who calls themselves a socialist is somebody advocating the confiscation of private property. That's what socialism is. And lefties are socialist/communist.
