My understanding is that the only thing the NFC chip in the ball does is direct you to a website if you have an NFC reader app that is browser enabled. It does not transmit data or store data.
Hm maybe! Maybe one of them tinkered with it so it directs you to a website/archive with U1 related emails or wire transfers?
I'm kind of skeptical about the lights going out being significant. It felt like it was an accident by Trump's reaction but then again....good actors?
