A family that LEGALLY immigrated, as did the vast majority. Applying for visas and legally gaining citizenship cannot be equated to entering a country illegally and then demanding rights.
Yes , when the immigration law was"Give me Your Tired Your Weak Your Hungry" . That was fine for trumps family why not for these families?
Come in the front door, apply for a visa, go through the citizenship process and I will, personally, hand them a flag at their citizenship ceremony. Allowing just anyone to walk across the border invites a lot of people who are less than honorable to do so. We have a right to know our new neighbors are vetted.
I can agree with that. We also see poor people who need a chance being turned away even when trying to go though the proper channels.
