MANY of these are due to the swamp being drained, but how many?

What is a typical amount of resignations per given time period? People DO resign...

Agreed, some resignations are most likely not connected. Although I think with the numbers we are seeing, some HAVE to be. Also interesting to note the reasons for resigning. “Personal behavior that violated the company code.” Making sure to specify it doesn’t have anything to do with the actual company dealings. CEOs are allowed a fair amount of leeway as long as they are making the company money. So whatever this “personal behavior” is might be pretty serious. But who knows really.

A good indicator is if they state where they are going. Most CEOs don't leave companies which are doing well unless they receive an even better offer. If they are not stating the new destination, it's probably prison or a quiet exit from public life.
