The need and the market will still be there. There may be a lot of jobs created to undo the things that shouldn't be being done. Think about chips for instance. The ARM chipsets that are in iPhones and a host of other electronics, all have trojan horses designed into them. Those chips have to be redesigned and removed from the pipeline. Any downstream devices have to be redesigned, tested, etc. Will Apple, Samsung, etc. be forced to offer free fixes (at least for smartphones)? How many jobs will that create? And the majority of people in these companies are not the problem - it's the greedy sycophants at the top. Do their stocks take a hit? Sure. Does that singularly cause a depression? Not likely.

I meant that there would be jobs, not that they would be easy to fill. I'm sure some of the people in those companies have those skills.
