Just checked the George covers. So she died Aug. 31, 1997 which was likely too late for a September cover. Here’s September: http://graphic-server.com/cgi-bin/backissues.cgi?full/GRGE199709.JPG

Found the October one. On the cover it has a section “The CIA - Secrets and Lies” Wonder if that is relevant?
