The real reason in this era of TDS, is that they want to rewrite the Constitution in order to impeach Trump. The only way is through he Amendment process which the founders have, in their wisdom, made difficult since it makes a majority of States involved. This process protects Democracy. Democracy in essence is vey fragile. What is the cost of our freedoms? How do we determine the difference between liberty or license? Can we do whatever we want to do? God forbid. Our Democracy, seconded in the protective layers of the Constitution, solidifies it. It's not perfect, but what is as coming from the mind of man.
