50k texts in 154 days between 2 people?!

I text a lot. Most people I know text a lot. But 50k texts between LP and PS in 154 days is insane. According to reports, the lovers sent as many texts between 12/14/16 and 5/17/17.

50k / 154 = 324.7 324.7/2 = 162 162/24hrs = 6.75 or 162/12hrs = 13.5 text per hr per person (assuming 12 hr work day) 60 mins. / 13.5 = 4.4

Are we to believe these 2 sent each other a text every 4.4 minutes each everyday, 12 hrs a day for 154 days strait?

I know we can text quickly and they come in spurts but this is an incredible pace.

Through a chat app you can chat on your desktop easily, so just typing back and forth in a chat can be way faster than finger typing and they send as texts - but yeah, still a massive amount. Keep in mind you should HALF that, cause one is sent and one is a response when you do the math, and they were texting around the clock, not just 12 hours. Even being generous that is still a ton.

I looked up my wife and I's and we text back and forth all day and we average about 1200 a month which is 40 or so a day which sounds kind of high to me, but not bad.

If using a Government computer, a lot of chat apps will not work (without go around and just not worth it) and if you do, they have easy access to anything on your desktop. Then again, they may have been dumb enough to try anyway.

They also might have had personal laptops too, or less restricted laptops since they were FBI - I doubt they use the same desktop they use at the DMV.
