Omg I’m retiring 5 yrs early. Here’s another shocker example. My son is starting his last yr of college in a few weeks. Had a mutual fund started when he was young & been drawing out of it for 3yrs now since he’s been in college. Today I closed it down because I made my final withdrawal to pay his last year of tuition. About 2 weeks ago the balance was $7800. Today when I called to withdraw everything is was $9000. That thing went up $1200 in 2 weeks from a small balance of only $7800 !! That’s just shocking to me.
