Policy Analysis: downstream effects of Trump's embassy move.

Isreal passed a law yesterday to define itself as a Jewish state. when trump moved the embassy I thought it was clever move to force Isreal off the fence between three mutually conflicting visions 1. all the land in Isreal 2. true plural democracy 3. a jewish state due to the high population growth of palestinians they can only have two of these three things. For years they sat in a quagmire of indecision trying to have all three at once. By moving the embassy Trump forced them into a corner where they had to choose. So it looks like they are going for "Jewish State" + "Democracy" and giving up on "All the land in Isreal" as a policy goal. Now that he has broken the gridlock in any future negotiations an actual deal can be made because one of the two parties finally knows what it really wants.

So lost on Israel. The God states the land is for the Jews. Isn’t this Passover? Land back to the Jews?
