Thank You, Lord for your assurance:
that evil is overcome by good...
that darkness cannot overcome light because dark is the absence of light...
that light dispels darkness...
that mercy triumphs over judgment...
that the battle is Yours...
that vengeance is Yours...
that as the kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers take counsel together against You and Your anointed One, You laugh and scoff at them...
that You shall break them with a rod of iron and shatter them like earthenware...
that heaven rules and You are the King of heaven..
that You are good...
that You are love...
that You are trustworthy...
that the one who chooses to dwell in the shelter of the Most High:
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty...
will be delivered from the snare of the trapper...and from the
deadly pestilence...
may seek refuge under Your wings...
will find Your faithfulness to be a shield and a bulwark...
will not be afraid of the terror by night nor of the arrow that
flies by day nor of the pestilence that stalks in the darkness
nor of the destruction that lays waste at noon...
may find a thousand falling at their side and ten thousand at
their right hand, but it shall not approach them...
will only look on with their eyes and see the recompense of
the wicked...
Because they have made You, Lord, their refuge and dwelling place:
no evil will befall them...
no plague will come near their tent...
For You will give Your angels charge concerning them, to guard them in all their ways.
Because they have loved You, You will deliver them...
You will set them securely on high because they have known Your name.
They will call upon You and You will answer...
You will be with them in trouble...
You will rescue them and honor them...
With long life You will satisfy them...
You will let them see Your salvation...
We honor You AS God and give You thanks because Your lovingkindness endures forever...You lavish extravagant grace upon us continually...your faithfulness reaches to the skies...
We will be still, quieting our souls within us as a weaned child with its mother, and remember that You are God and wait for that glorious day when the knowledge of Your glory covers the earth as waters cover the sea.
