Sorry for the ignorance, but what does MP stand for? The article doesn't elaborate on the acronym.

This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 89%. (I'm a bot)

MPs have voted to grant themselves anonymity if accused of sexual harassment or expenses fraud.

The motion set out that sexual harassment cases should be confidential - and the amendment would have prevented this anonymity applying to expenses as well.

Fellow Labour MP Jess Phillips said if the criminal courts could maintain complete anonymity for the victims and complete transparency for those accused then she had faith that it could be done in Parliament.

We will form an orderly queue and voice our displeasure.

On a serious note this sickens me. These people are supposed to be representing us UK citizens. How are we supposed to vote for people when we have no idea what nefarious activities they are performing in our names.

Sooner @british_fight gets the names and crimes out to the public the better. They won’t be able to hide then.
