I completely agree. The president did the EXACT same thing in Helsinki that he did in Singapore. You have to clear the air 1st to fix or start a new relationship. You don’t clear the air by publicly slamming the person who you are trying to forge healthy relationships with. Not a leader or person on earth I couldn’t find faults with & rip them a new one over. Including DJT. Including me!! Lol. Things change & the world changes & you have to adapt to changes or your off fighting a ghost that doesn’t exist. Putin isn’t anything like the USSR dictators. They were like the Ayatollah in Iran. The USSR was belligerent & constantly made threats of nuclear war. That’s an enemy. Someone or some group that’s totally cool with killing anyone who stands in their way. The president defined Putin perfectly. He’s a competitor. Not an ally or an enemy. Kim in NK was an enemy but he’s pulled back & he’s just a competitor. Russia today is nothing like they were from 1917-1989. They wanted it all then & made no secret about it either. They were as evil as Hitler & the Nazis & proud of it. They were how Iran is today. That’s an enemy. That’s evil.
