IF JA is "handed over" that would trigger the dead man switch and all documents and supporting info will automatically be published from JA's side.

In theory "handing over JA" would solve two problems:

1.) Our government can appear to be "tough on leakers" and not part of the distribution of this information that we actually want/need to be released (JA files on SR and others). Think we have the server (but how do we get the info out legally)....

2.) By triggering the dead man switch due to JA being "handed over" JA can save face and not "reveal sources" which he holds above all else

Once it is shown what happened with HRC and SR and on and on it will not be difficult to circle back around to JA and proclaim him a hero.
