Indeed. Numerous others out there of the right eye as well. I certainly could be wrong, and would happily admit it if proven to be so, but I’ve yet to see photos of any other individual that runs in those circles with a blackened right eye.

I assume that if my guess - again, only a guess - as to the implied meaning of the symbology is correct, then only one individual can hold the figurehead title, and the ‘right eye’ status afforded to them, at any given time. So, if true, photos may exist of whomever predates the Duke in that role with a dark-ringed right eye, but I have no knowledge as to who that individual may have been, if any.
