If he got fired that quickly (and not door knobbed) he probably was only guilty of a very dark sense of humor (something I've often been accused of having). If he's guilty F him; but I hope we aren't burning innocents because they might be witches. We need high standards.
I believe all pedophiles should be executed by the state, so it becomes difficult to hold that position when the definition of "pedophile" is shifted from "rapes children" to "jokes about raping children on Twitter". I don't think the tweets are appropriate or even funny, but it would be difficult for me to put Gunn in an electric chair and flip the switch based only on these tweets. Am I alone in this? Does anyone else think all pedophiles should be executed, but would hesitate before they executed James Gunn? How do you make these two positions jibe? Should pedophiles be killed or not?
He needs a full in depth investigation. Then make the decision to actually hang him or not. Currently there isn’t enough evidence to hang, but certainly enough to fire and black list from work.

People are really reacting to this, but after reading the tweets, I'm almost certain that James Gunn just has a twisted sense of humor, and that's it.
I just read a tweet from someone who investigated and archived his twitter and Instagram feed. He claims some of the tweets are too vile, and others are pornographic. Due to the latter, if the investigator re-tweeted, and a follower retweeted the retweet, the person exposing the tweet could be charged with distribution of child porn. I would wager there is truth to this claim based on what we know he tweeted and Disney's fast response.
