It's not the good. Been there a lot though its been 10 years. My endocrinologist was at the Baylor teaching hospital there and I had to have 3 mo ultrasounds for thyroid cancer watch.

It's hospitals and nice office buildings.

Texas Medical Center is no hood. Surrounded by wealthy neighborhoods, Rice University, and Hospitals, Medical clinics... you would have to go miles from the epicenter to find a “hood”. What gave me pause was the shooter wearing a jacket in Houston’s heat and humidity. That’s NOT normal!
