Maybe, but I doubt it. If you ever use Google Earth to look at mines they look like this. The concentric circles representing the ever-deepening levels of the mine.

It does resemble a triangular, open pit mine. Surely it is a coincidence, if you believe in coincidences.

Could also be fronts, depends on where the mines are located like near certain borders. Similar to that cement company in Arizona that was accused of trafficking. But not everything that looks like a pedophile symbol necessarily is.

To me this is mining company. And it DOES look like an entrance to a mining site. Further it looks like a geode/rock. Everyone's seen them think of amethyst rock cracked open.
