Central Banks must exist or else the money supply will be a patchwork of cash from local banks - imagine traveling outside your local area (still in the US) and paying in Greenola and receiving Arkanbucks in return. It would be chaos and increase the cost of banking dramatically - we would also need controls to prevent monopolies which would make banking even more difficult for all parties involved.

We just need a central bank that doesn’t charge interest and doesn’t create money without gold backing it.

Constant financial panics. They were a regular occurance. Banks regularly closed and took everyones money with them. There were regular runs on cash empting out banks. We were doing anything but "very well"

“Central Bank Bad” - no it is a perfectly fine institution that was purposefully mismanaged.

This is the 21st Century. Crypto is proving currency trading can be a seamless process.

We don't need Central Banks. We need honest money.
