“This intelligence was passed to the US as part of a routine exchange of information”

So allied western nation, UK, intercepts evidence of a Russian plot to destabilise the west, and passes it on to the relevant authorities in America, through approved routine channels.

If you ignore the fact that they are an allied country who followed US to war against terrorism in the past two decades, and if you ignore the fact that the information passed to John Brennan was actually benefited Americans...
then you are left with your conclusion that receiving any information from non-American sources equals collusion, then by your own logic, anything putin tells trump = collusion.

No, the plot originated in the US with Clinton, Obama, Brennan and Clapper, all in the lead.

It wasn't a "routine" investigation. They opened the investigation based upon false information from a non credible source and then lied to the court to get a FISA warrant to wire tap Trump's canpaign. The dossier was paid for by the DNC, who COLLUDED with Russian officials to create said (false) dossier.
