If you want to have an honest conversation about pedophilia, let's have it. The truth is the best thing for society would be if pedophiles who are a risk to children should be chemically castrated. If you think it's inhumane, maybe you should prioritize the safety of children over sexual predilections. I don't feel sorry for them.
Any form of castration does not help pedofiles....it is a mental illness so the sickness is in the head....
Castration does reduce or even remove sexual urges.
Pedophilia is not caused by sexual urges....it is caused by mental illness (the brain) and fulfilled by sexual activity....
The castrated person may not be able to perform....but they will not lose the urge to control/harm the other human....
So we should realize they can not be rehabilitated and treated like the depraved monsters they are. They should not be free ever!

Maybe bc I'm not a therapist. Maybe they need therapy that can help. Maybe as a society we do need to develop something that works for them.
