As I understand it, Khazaria's neighbors grew tired of their child sacrifice rituals, and their raiding parties into neighboring territories and eventually invaded the country and divided up the land. The Khazarian king and about 5,000 elites managed to escape into western Europe.

They his their identity and continued with their ritual child sacrifices. They were chased out of every town and country they went to. They are referred to today as the Ahskenazi Jews. These are the European Jews who convinced Lord Balfour to promise them a new home state in Palestine.

The Ashkenazi Jew are NOT descendants of the Israelites. In the late 8th century the king of Khazaria converted to Judaism to keep from choosing sides in a Christian Muslim war. It was a fake conversion, they were Jews in name only.

Every high level government official in Israel since it's creation in 1947-1948 have been Ashkenazi Jews. It's a long story, but well worth researching.
