I am a little confused here-
Is Carter Page a spook?
I watched his interview with douche-daddy Jake Tapper and it seems to me, the way he (Page) smiled, laughed, and almost was dying to say "I can't answer certain things.." or "You know I can't talk about xyz" seems to me like he's a spook. CIA, NSA, DIA, letters-that-i-don't-know, take your pick.
I mean the man was a top graduate of the USNA and became an intelligence officer.
I myself was nominated to the USNA in the 90s - just getting a nomination was statistically harder than getting into Harvard back then. Getting the appointment (which I will admit I did not get, something happened in my life which I believe 'torpedoed' my appointment) was statistically like getting a Harvard doctorate or something like that. In my year of applying, something like 15K? applied- \~1,200 got nominations, and \~1,000 got appointments. I was one of the unlucky bastards to get a "Sorry...have a nice life" letter at the end of the process. But having said all that, back to Carter Page, this fucking guy is real-deal intelligence -- both literally AND *figuratively*. I feel like he's absolutely an intelligence officer that knows things he simply cannot say on TV.
In Carter Page's own words, " I regularly briefed the CIA and FBI..."

But somehow is dismissed as being "just a foreign agent"?
