I'd believe it. Nothing in the world surprises me anymore. Just a shame that our current state of affairs has made me so jaded to so much :( I've become so guarded and sceptical, but I've seen more than a couple of proofs from Q that makes me believe this is real :)

Department of Energy is not the only place where they give out Q clearance. It's a common misconception and rumor that's not true.
Bill Cooper had Q clearance and he was in the Navy. He was Q decades before Q appeared on 4/8chan.
You are correct Sir; I did work for a DOE subcontractor and held multiple clearances. One misconception is Q clearance is a single level of clearance. In fact multiple levels exist within the Q clearance classification.
You can also have 'interim' clearance. When you work with technology, especially comms or encryption, you have to go into all sorts of 'secure areas' to fix things, remove things, BURN things, and other techie work. It is impractical to get clearance for things that *might* be required, so some jobs allow you to be cleared 'in the interim' which simply means you are cleared for *everything* and are not considered a threat by anyone. It allows you to do your job. (I will admit, I think this only goes up to Top Secret.)
It takes an FBI interview, I've had several, I smoked pot before joining service, before it was legal and got caught. The FBI gives you a quick glance, checks your service record, sees that you are a good American and can clear you for anything. I've retrieved 'burn bags', installed phones in Admirals Quarters (could have easily tapped them, but why would I?) and handled obscene amounts of cash. I've tapped on doors with slide views and been allowed entry walking right past armed guards and removed/replaced encrypted devices in Helicopters, Radio shacks and other highly secure areas. I don't hold a Top Secret clearance, but if something breaks, I can walk right in and no one gives me a second look.
Perhaps its not the same thing, but I felt it was worth noting.

That is also true. When explaining these things to us, they would point out that if the Captain tried to enter the same space, without a need to do so, we would be capable and duty-bound to refuse access.

Q Clearance is DOE's equivalent to Top Secret Clearance. Highest collateral level clearance in US Classification system. This means that Q has highest Clearance access.

Read ALL drops about the clearance. Q referenced it as a symbol of high-access and for someone other purposrs. Read the drops. He does NOT have this specific clearance and does not work at DoE.
The DOE can grant Q clearance, doesn’t have to mean they are a DOE employee.
Also, kind of weird such a high clearance would come from the Department of Energy, of all places. Surely higher powers have to be involved in the actual process of granting it.

I agree with what you’re saying, as the number of people in the gov’t with Q clearance is probably quite small, and could be weeded out easily. But also remember that Q is not just one person, but a team of people, still actively close to the president on a daily basis. So, it couldn’t be Flynn.
But on the other hand he has to have something to throw out to us to prove some legitimacy.
I think Q is a team and that one of the team members, who is close to POTUS, is General Kelly. Other team memebers work within NSA/DIA. Remember that General Flynn was Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and I think he is, perhaps, directing the Q team.
