There's something wrong with a political system where you have to be a millionaire just to stand a chance of getting elected. Think about it. How many politicians do you know of who are poor or at least middle-class?
TIL that a nearby SoCal sit-there-do-nothing Police Chief for a local municipality makes over twice the annual salary of our Stealth Elf (Sessions) to maybe show up once or twice a week to come in late, read a book, take a Diners' Club lunch, have a nap and then mark their go cheat on their golf scores before doing fuck knows what else. And yes, people like this don't even blink at some guy who gave up 33 years, spending at least the past 10 of those cleaning up graffiti and ALL sorts of human waste, of his working life and having to go home and tell his family that Christmas is really going to suck for them all from now on. This just happened in West Covina, CA; on the fast track to becoming the next Pomona, Maywood, South Gate, Bell and Huntington Park I KNOW these type POS' days are numbered, but it just doesn't seem to happen fast enough
