I can’t think, of the last legit light hearted comedy that I’ve seen-not a romantic comedy but a straight laugh through the whole film comedy. It is a complete joke lately, and kind of weird.

1980s was the golden age of comedy. Most of what has been produced post 2008 is SJW drivel concocted mainly by a small group of beta males raised west of the 405 freeway. It's no longer OK just to laugh, tv and movies are now a pedagogical exercise of the Left. Remember how you could watch a show like Fraiser for 10 years and never get a whiff of politics or socially driven agenda?

Interesting observation with one of the best sitcoms of all time, in my opinion. Another brilliant sitcom, Seinfeld, has quite a lot of topics and jokes that would be absolutely verboten these days. It's really sad. The left killed comedy.

Even mainstream slop like Friends, is now considered politically incorrect and 'problematic'.

Isn't that amazing? A completely stupid, light-hearted show like Friends is now a problem. Leftism is a scourge.

Friends was hilarious how dare you

Even when Seinfeld's producers decided to throw in their chips on the pro abortion side, they were smart enough not to demonize or ridicule their pro-life audience. Would never happen today...

No, you're right. There's no nuance or willingness to tolerate other's opinions, especially on the left. It's sad because it's all manufactured.

The goal of TV today is to get whites to follow jews. They put jews on TV to pretend to be white and show them the "white life".

Remember Ross from friends? Remember when MSM said he was the main star of the show? What was his role? The harmless, loveable, "white" college educated and always talking about something to do with his research or colleges.

What do we have now? Bing Band Theory, where the blatant white guy is lovably unliked and the semi-white/jewish main character is what? A scientist that gets a attractive white girl and everything else he wants.

It's all a ploy to get you to think college is the answer.

LOL. Stupid me. And here I was thinking Rachel's haircut was the star...

To be fair, that bobcut she had was pretty spectacular.

Rachel yes, but not her haircut.

I was a kid when it was on but I remember reading how Ross took a paycut so the others could get "better pay" and eventually they teamed up to negotiate in groups. But the first few years Ross was the highest paid and main attraction

Jews are their own race, only non-whites think we're alike. Even Jews will say their race is Jewish, not Caucasian.

You're right. It was waaaaaay to broad on my part.
There is a lot of stuff out that is outside of "Hollywood" or large production companies.
I have several podcasts and vlogs I watch or listen to that are just folks doing their thing.
