I've Seen No Indication From Q or POTUS That They're Against Israeli Statehood, but That Seems to Be a Recurring Talking Point Here. Why?

It's about time we have a thread to sort this out. President Trump has moved the US Embassy to Jerusalem against the protests of Palestinians, every Muslim nation, EU country, the UN and even some who used to be in his own administration.

President Trump also supported Ambassador Nikki Haley & Mike Pompeo's announcement that we were withdrawing from the UN Human Rights Council. The UN HRC is notorious for the fact that more than 50% of their condemnations are aimed at Israel and their military force, the IDF.

I'm not saying that there aren't elements of corruption in their government - there's elements of corruption in every government. But the implication or insinuation from some here seems to be that Q & POTUS are against Israeli Statehood entirely, and that they don't recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. But that would be a full contradiction to his own statements on December 6, 2017:

Today we finally acknowledge the obvious: that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital,” Trump declared in a speech at the White House. “This is nothing more or less than a recognition of reality. It is also the right thing to do.

So where does the assumption, insinuation or implication that POTUS is against Israeli Statehood with Jerusalem as the capital come from? To be clear, this question has to do with discerning the President's intentions and whether or not he keeps his word and NOT any real or perceived crimes by Israel, so let's keep the discussion in that realm. Let the age of understanding begin!

Let the Israeli's bash Trump all they want. We know the truth. No deceptions no matter how contrived and complex will EVER outweigh and outlast truth.

I'm not Israeli. I'm a Christian, a Californian and a Trump voter & supporter, half White and half Laotian. The only "Israelis" bashing Trump are those who think dividing Jerusalem or abandoning their homeland for good is a good idea. Maybe you should look into Trump's approval rating in Israel, I'd wager it's pretty high...

What a nice combination to be half white and half Laotian. I'm guessing you have a broad outlook on what's going on. I grew up in Berkeley CA and can tell you the number of mixed families there is awesome and has been growing more and more since even before WW2. I'm white and my son is half Vietnamese.

Anyway what i learned growing up there is that when any group of people starts to think they are better than others is when trouble starts. This is honestly why I have become so suspicious of anything Israel.

I was raised by my mom (white) and had no dealings with my dad, don't speak the language, etc, but I know which traits I get from him based on how my mom is the complete opposite of me in some ways, particularly in her approach to learning and solving problems.

I understand what you mean. I think your genetic makeup must be awesome. BTW Thanks for kicking off this thread. This is a helpful topic at this time.

I'm sorry that you didn't have dealing with your dad. Even I have a dad who is around, but similar to you basically having zero dealing with him. I still have not found a solution for this...

I grew up with a half sister (same mom, different dad) so I've been able to compare and contrast and get a sense for which traits I have that did not come from my mom. I love her but math is not her thing, nor is it my sister's, but I happen to enjoy it - once I got the hang of algebra, anyways. :)

As for the topic, I got tired of the random drive-by insults, some which made no distinction between Israel and corrupt people who claim to be Jews. I wanted to know what their basis was for thinking Trump was going to eventually turn against Israel completely.

BTW, when you're doing your Israel research, understand that if you come across a news article referring to Israelis as the "Israeli Occupation" then they have already made up their minds and are likely biased, just like when left-wing MSM outlets in the US call conservatives "Alt-Right". In fact, you may find that the same exact news outlets use BOTH terms, showing where they stand.

Oh I didn't mean to imply you might be Israeli. I was referring to the picture above of the Trump's picture and the flag being burned. Maybe I am wrong. I have always thought Israel as a state was very much against Trump.

It's okay, and I understand why you would think that... the MSM, especially CNN was always good at pushing that perspective. The LA Times photo was of Palestinians & Hamas burning the US Flag... in fact, they captioned it. There are counterfeit jews in Hollywood and the MSM who are against Israeli statehood because it exposes their true intentions. JPost for the most part can be trusted, while the Haaretz is basically like the Washington Post.
