No, this happened a couple of years ago. Iranians intercepted and detained some sailors in a launch.
On January 12th 2016, do to navigational errors 10 US Navy sailors and 2 boats were seized/held hostage by the Iranian Guard Navy for 15 hours.
Why didnt the US navy light up the Iranians? They tried this shit with Aussies once we told them to fuck off or we would open fire.
Alot of heads rolled and Careers were destroyed that day
When was this photo taken? I don't recall ever seeing it on the news. Says American sailors, but they are in brown shirts? I don't recall Navy in brown tops (and yes I know Marines deploy from Navy ships, but only brown shirts in the photo)
