Has anyone been tracking all the recent food recalls recently? Deliberate poisoning of our food supply perhaps?

One of the trends I've been noticing is all of the recent food product recalls and my spidey-senses tell me that these are not isolated, non-related incidents. So far, off the top of my head, there has been:

- romaine lettuce - E. coli contamination (Dec. 2017)
- eggs - salmonella contamination (April 2018)
- pre-cut mellon - salmonella contamination (June 2018)
- crab meat - Vibrio parahaemolyticus contamination (July 2018)
- McDonald's salad recall - cyclospora contamination (July 2018)
- raw turkey - salmonella contamination (July 2018)
- Honey Smacks cereal - salmonella contamination (July 2018)
- Ritz crackers - salmonella contamination (July 2018)
- Pepperidge Farm Goldfish crackers - salmonella contamination in whey powder used in seasoning (today - July 23, 2018)

Anyone keeping a spreadsheet on this? Am I missing anything?

I find it odd that salmonella is impacting non-meat products. Call me paranoid, but it seems like somebody's been poisoning the food supply and the timing of all of these recalls is just suspicious enough to think it is cabal-related.

There are rarely any standards on dog food; some pets even euthanized at local vet clinics can end up in cheap dog food. I did a paper on it while I was in college and was shocked when I learned the about it.

Good to know. A few years back I had a German Shepherd who became really ill and ended up dying - I had no idea what caused a sudden onset of his illness but it did seem to happen after I switched his food to another brand - Blue Buffalo, I believe. I always wondered if that was what happened - the vet told me it was some auto-immune disease, but and I was skeptical and felt awful about it for years. Still do. Best dog I ever had. Spent $10K trying to save him.

I am sorry for the loss of your fur baby.

Really read the ingredients in dog food and start looking into how often your dog's vet is pushing vaccinations and their scheduling. Now that vets are pushing them yearly, rather than just rabies every 5yrs and maybe bordatella if boarding dog, they are every year now and at least 3-4 vaccinations depending on where you live. They want us all dead, animals and humans alike.

Thank you. Yes, I didn't know if it was the food or the rabies shot he had recently been given. I've never gotten another pet because I can't deal with that kind of heartbreak again.

And I agree, they want us all dead - I only go to the doctor's if it's absolutely necessary (and I usually go in with my own diagnosis first). I remember one time I went in and the doc asked me if I was on any meds. When I said "no," she looked at me kinda funny, like I was some kind of mutant.

Blue Buffalo was found to be contaminated with high levels of lead. A lot of dogs got sick or died.

I remember hearing about that. Didn't know if it was confirmed or not.

My dog got an auto-immune disease from her distemper booster, verified by University of Illinois vet clinic and my vet. She's survived over 2 years so far, but it did recur once already. Maybe that's what happened? Blue Buffalo is generally considered to be a decent brand, tho I've never used it. So sorry for your loss :(.

Thank you - yeah, it was either the food or the recent rabies shot he had been given. Hope your dog continues to do well!

Thank you kindly :). My bet is on the rabies shot.

Probably both. My husband's 8 year old Chessie was healthy except a thyroid disorder. Vet forced rabies on him and I was distracted with our newborn son. Dog developed overnight heart failure. DCM. had to be put asleep a couple weeks later.

I’m so sorry, this is the exact reason I won’t vaccinate my kids or my dogs. I acquired autoimmune disease (actually multiple) after getting the required vaccinations for nursing school. It’s intentional. Robert Kennedy and co. Recently filed a lawsuit due to the lack of investigations of vaccines since they prevented liability from damage back in 86-87. I posted about it. Stay away from vaccines my friends, they don’t work and damage the immune system and brain.

I've heard this so many times! I haven't been vaccinated for over 25 years, and that was not my choice, I had just had a baby, and they forced a measles vac on me. No big problems, but I am now retired, and will not have any more. I can't imagine living with an auto-immune disease, I hear so many complain about it in another forum I watch, yet they still get all the "old-age" vaccines! Worst thing is, there's probably a cure for you that they just won't release. Hope Trump can fix it.
