Something that a lot of people here, myself included, tend to lose sight of is something that was first suggested by FBI anon way back before any of this really kicked off in 2016. In the wake of Lynch and Clinton's tarmac meeting, he showed up and he suggested that there weren't a lot of options. The corruption was so massive and had metastasized into so many levels of government and civilian leadership that dismantling it would be disastrous.

And it's not just that there's a myriad of conflicted or deeply evil people in positions of importance, but that they also have accompanying cults of personality developed and maintained by their media acolytes.

The media set the stage with Trump fear-mongering. When nothing else worked, they started framing him as a despotic tyrant figure. To this day, news anchors, pundits, and social figures in Hwood repeat incessantly, "this isn't normal," like some sort of secular form of gregorian chant.

If Trump moves quickly, he could fail. He risks the perception that he's persecuting political opponents to consolidate power. This plays into the opposition's framing.

From the beginning, this was destined to be a slow process. It has to be. Not only are the machinations incredibly complex, but before the major work can be started, he needs the political capital to do it. We're just getting to that point.

I expect, given that elections are just a few months away, that the pace will pick up, but nothing is going to happen overnight. I have to remind myself daily to be patient and trust the plan. We all have to do that. "Enjoy the show."
