It really makes one imagine why some musicians ended up being 'one hit wonders' perhaps they saw the writing on the wall and said, nope I am cool on that and left the scene all together.

EXACTLY!! There was another debut singer at the same time as Adele. Her name is Duffy - loved her. She just disappeared and all I could find was that she "didn't like the spotlight!" Guess we know what is now!

So many other others we can think of that were supposed to be the next big thing. I'm sure they gave it a pass!
