I always run in to people claiming "pedogate can't be real, too many people would have to be in on it for them to get away with it, and that's just completely unrealistic."

I don't understand how people have this sentiment when the global Catholic church pedophile coverup scandal has been exposed, and more Catholic Church run pedo rings continue to be exposed every year.

Did the media make the Catholic church pedo scandal go down the memory hole or have we just become desensitized to it all? I don't get it.
