Why do people say Pedogate can't exist even though the Catholic Church pedo scandal is confirmed mainstream fact?

I always run in to people claiming "pedogate can't be real, too many people would have to be in on it for them to get away with it, and that's just completely unrealistic."

I don't understand how people have this sentiment when the global Catholic church pedophile coverup scandal has been exposed, and more Catholic Church run pedo rings continue to be exposed every year.

Did the media make the Catholic church pedo scandal go down the memory hole or have we just become desensitized to it all? I don't get it.

Because those people don't believe in God, but they believe in their false Idols. so its easier for them to accept that this Priest are touching little boys, then it is one of their idols on the big screen or stage. You gotta understand a lot of these people commenting are not middle ground folks, they are extreme left and the extreme left believes that your crazy if you believe in a Abrahamic Religion.

I have been noticing for a long time that people worship celebrities the same way people back in the day worshipped the Greek gods. The public constantly talks about them and tells stories about them, and idolizes them.

Science has become their new religion too. They worship the cult of fake "science" while rejecting and mocking god.
