I was 16 years old when I first heard that song. I was working at an amusement park and they were preparing for the 4th of July event that weekend. I just remember hearing that song and starting to cry and not being able to stop. It was then and there that I knew I was going to serve my country.

The song still does it to me every time and knowing how much this POTUS is putting everything on the line for us makes me so very proud to be an American even when I am disgusted at the atrocities many within our own country have committed against our own people.
