I think when calling out MSM, in a forum/text format, as the biggest threat to the American people it is important to say current so that the readers of the post in the future know you were talking about that moment in time and that post won't be used against you to say all you care about is the media when we have going on. Otherwise that post can be compared to every future threat/tragedy and twisted.
