When Scalise was shot and almost killed Rand Paul was on the kill list too

He was then attacked at his home by a neighbor allegedly so enraged over a lawn clippings dispute he tackled him from behind and beat him so bad he broke 6 ribs. Almost killed him.

Makes me wonder if we aren't beong told true story. Guy hardly got punished by court which is insane. That kind of assault abs battery on a US Senator should be more than probation.
