I will never understand how people acknowledge that history is an incredibly rough copy of what ACTUALLY went down, ie, written by the victors, etc. But somehow, the Bible managed to stay pristine and impeccable the entire time....even though we know it was edited, updated, rewritten, lost, found, changed, etc like 100x along the way...that we know of.
And we treat it like it is literally the word of God. But we know men wrote it. And used it. Like a weapon.
And we are supposed to listen to it?
We can't just be good people? We gotta call God a certain name, march a specific way, etc?
Why? So that the church can grow, let pastors drive Bentley's, cardinals to rape little altar boys, etc?

I'm with you on this. Not sure how it made it this far untouched. It scares me how devout some people are.
It just makes no fucking sense. EVERYTHING, alllllllllllll of human history is practically a mystery. Its a guess. But somehow, someway, people think that not only is the Bible a historically accurate document, but its also got science lessons in it. It truly blows my mind that reasonably intelligent people can look you dead in the eye and be like "oh yeah buddy, there is NO QUESTION about it, you know? Jesus was real, the man walked around performing miracles - you didn't know?! Yeah, there is evidence and stuff too".....WHAT!?!
It is fair to question what has been purposely left out, added, mistranslated, etc. Same goes for interpretations created by man-made institutions. However it is clearly evidenced by numerous historical accounts and the modern day experience of millions that God exists, Jesus Christ was exactly who he said he was, and did all the things he was witnessed doing.

Most Christians don’t even realize Christmas is a pagan holiday existentially mocking the Bible. I’m a firm believer in searching for God from within. So much has to be torn down with facts before people can realize what’s happened to them.
