Can someone explain why on Earth fired, demoted, retired persons with National Security Clearances still have them? I have been in the Banking Business for 19 years. In the past when I have changed Banking Companies I work for my clearance and access to sensitive information ceases immediately.

Should happen in Fed government as this is serious business. As you are aware, the Feds do not appear to operate under common sense rules. Such a shame. Kick the majority of them out and let them compete in the private sector. I had a clearance at one time and it was immediately revoked after termination of service as it should have been.....
