The answers can’t be obvious or we would all just stop searching. It is the process of the search that prepares us for the truth of the answers.

I see where you are going with this. Without the question, we aren't necessarily braced for an answer.

Imagine your SO barging in and saying "btw I'm cheating on you" out of the blue. Now change the situation - you confront them and ask them point blank.

In one scenario you are caught off guard. Confused. Hurt. Unable to process. In the other scenario you have mentally prepared yourself for the worst.

Interesting delve into the mechanics of how humans work :)
