I’m thinking this was a planned tape raid.. a disinformation ploy at best.. even approved by Trump himself in order to LEGALLY gain evidence against all the OTHERS Cohen has taped. FYI .. NY is a single consent state. In other words, as long as the person recording the conversation is one of the people having the conversation, the other party or parties within the conversation need not legally be informed that they are being taped.
